I completely flipped recently over Juju's beaded stars from the sneak peak she gives of her upcoming beading book Creative Beading. (It doesn't come out until August, but if you're overly anxious like me you can pre-order it from amazon!)
On Friday I got a really nice surprise in my email, when she sent me the instructions from her book on how to make them. I had to try experimenting once I finally got a free moment over the weekend, making them is so entirely addictive. If I hadn't started creating them so late in the evening, I would of surely made more!
Over the weekend I noticed that the upcoming crochet installment of Stitch' N Bitch books, by Debbie Stoller had a very familiar character on the cover. I felt a kind of internal squeal when I realized that sure enough it was Camilla Engman's crocheted bear. How fun!
More paper will be available in the shop soon, big thanks to everyone who've already placed orders. Everything has been shipped and is on it's way. (The shop page, will be down today while I update the design.)
