Inspirations: week 2 (über girly)

From left to right:
Chandelier, chair, and silhouette motifs used in design.... a good example is Jeffrey Fisher's Nolita pillows.
Vintage Vogue cover illustrations like this one created in 1913 by George Wolfe Plank. The Art of Vogue Covers 1909-1940 (out of print but you can still find used copies on Amazon and Ebay) by William Parker, is pure eye candy.
Niceness.uk original wallpaper. This one is peacock feathers... I have a bit of a weakness there.
Hand lined envelopes, with screened papers from the paper source. ( The Italian print of the red/green flower is my favorite right now.)
Saturate design, lovely Chinese papercut silkscreened designs...what inspired me to buy a print gocco.
My favorite invention... the ipod, looking quite swanky in a Fairisle slip from free people.Labels: Inspirations |
