I hope everyone had a lovely holiday! We're still getting everything in order here after having to almost completely move everything out of our home so our hardwood floors could be sanded and refinished last week. The transformation is looking amazing... to me our living room has the feeling now of a warm and cozy cafe. To see a small glimpse of what it looked like last Christmas (and the deep green paint that I was really loathing!) click here, here, & here. We have more people coming in this week to finish a few more projects, all I have to say is that renovation is stressful! Last week I went into a mad laughing fit as I was climbing in and out of the house through a bedroom window, it was pretty funny indeed since the dogs and bird cages had to come in and out that way too! On Friday night we stayed up really late moving our furniture back in the house, in preparation for our annual Christmas Eve party the next evening. We went into a bit of a frenzy driving all over town Saturday morning trying to find a last minute tree. Amazingly we got everything done in time, and had a wonderful party. All I have to say is "Phew"!

Here's a tiny peek from our lovely stash of Christmas treasures this year.
All of these were delivered in such colorful & creative packages!

a. Alicia and I did a trade recently, she sent the sweetest sweater stocking from her collection at Rosy little things.
b. My sister sent this adorably packaged Lollia cream along with other "chill out" themed gifts.
c. This clever message in a bottle kit came from a friend that lives in our neighborhood, she has such fun taste!
