Inspiration 3 (maybe I'll have to change this to semi-weekly, as they take me a bit of time to compile!)

From left to right:
I adore this little panda pattern offered up by Molly chicken. What a great gift idea!
Twig Wizardry makes tiny furniture out of (you guessed it) twigs. These would make such a fun addition to a fairy garden.
Second Time Cool, was first introduced to me by a post from Karen at Kraf-o-la (she never fails to find beautiful things). It contains more great ideas about sweater recycling, it's still on my wish list.
Sabrina Ward Harrison has such an amazing aesthetic, and is not afraid to spill! I really admire her work.
The season's of cannon falls is a company that specializes in decorating for all of the different seasons. They represent a lot of different folk artists. Right now I'm especially fond of Wendy Addison's sparkly old-fashioned glass mirror glitter garlands. There is an over-sized one that says "wish" for the winter holiday season that I especially covet!
Maggie Taylor is a digital artist that I've had bookmarked for some time now. Her work is amazing. You may recognize this piece from the opening credits of the t.v. show "the ghost whisperer". (If you ever watch that show and see a traffic circle with a fountain in the middle surrounded by a lot of shops, that's my neighborhood.)
Where women Create is a book I've recently come across on the web, now also on my wish list. I love peering into other people's creative work spaces. This book looks so inspiring.
Textile Arts sells wall hanging kits to display Marimekko fabrics as artwork. The finished pieces look absolutely stunning.Labels: Inspirations |
