Inspiration 14 ~ Whimsical Lovliness

October Inspiration abounds!

1. Design Sponge's guest blog archive of Affordable Art. This is a poster by one of my favorite designers: iso50. (Guest blogger Mav had featured there.) You should check out Scott Hanson's other site, Tycho Music too.

2. Martha, always lures me in most near the holidays. I love these lace punched pumpkins. I'm feeling ambitious this year and am going to try my hand at it. You've also got to check out Yvestown's pumpkins, they're magical!

3. I'm loving Moodswing studio's new pop culture trinkets. They feature quotes from some of my favorite 80's flicks. Every time she makes a new one, I just can't stop grinning!

4. I'm so envious over Pamela's recent visit to Wendy Addison's studio. The photos she took there are truly mezmerizing. This is such an inspiring post, don't miss it!

5. Alicia's most recent post is another creative treasure. I love how she pieced together all of those vintage bits of wallpaper on her closet door. It's so artistic!

I have such a love hate relationship with wallpaper though, as some of you might know! After spending a few weeks removing a ton of it in our new house, I actually sort of began to miss the different paper textures. I ended up ordering a few free hand-blocked samples of wallpaper from Farrow & Ball. There was something so beautiful in the simplicity of the designs, that I couldn't resist cutting them up to frame them. One day I might just wallpaper the inside of my studio closet in the damask pattern. You can order free samples of their paper too, here.
